What I offer
My Nomad session is to empower one self, through connection and intimacy. You don't have to be going to the gym to do this session with me. I welcome all body types! It really is about empowerment. Connecting with mother earth, yourself and your lover...You'll walk in the woods, feel the earth, lay in nature. Through my unique work, weaving you into fabric of the earth and one another is my main goal.
How I approach my work
Perfection is not my goal, capturing real, raw, tangible moments are. My way of photographing a boudoir is completely organic. With all that being said, I cannot tell a story without all the other pieces coming together like Neutral + Earthy tones styling (outfits), location and light. I have spots that will provide beautiful backdrops + enhance the outcome. Please keep in mind that your session will be during golden hour, one hour before sunset. I also plan for more tranquil + intimate moments when the time is right. It makes it all come together and creates a memorable experience and timeless photographs that will bring you to tears!

Nomad
You have my heart and soul poured into you right from the start. I typical shoot in dreamy light; Sunrise or Sunset. Once we find a date, I will pencil you into my calendar. Must be willing to wear something from my client closet or purchase a few items to make this session a master piece. When the day is upon us, we will meet at a spot and drive to the location we planned together. Four weeks after the session, your digital high resolution files will be downloadable from an online gallery. How exciting!

I have a lot of people that reach out and it's so much easier to manage incoming inquiries and our ongoing messaging from one place. How does the Client Closet work?
If you haven't found it yet, it's listed in the Welcome Guide amongst other places here and there on the website.
If you plan on wearing a few pieces from the client closet, please let me know. Just screen shot the ones you want and send them to me. I will bring the ones you're interested in and you'll be able to try them in your vehicle to see if you love them right before your session. We'll plan extra time.
I usually add quality, versatile, comfy + flowy dresses so there should be no issue for the fit if it's your usual size. Let me know if you'd like to wear some of them and I'll make a note to get them ready + steamed for the day of your shoot. I can't wait to see what you pick!
When should I book my boudoir session?
As I offer a different style of boudoir, I exclusively book these sessions in nature from June till September. It's all about connecting with Mother Earth and your lover if he or she comes along.
Is it better to have professional makeup and hair done?
No. Not at all! The only instance I would recommend a hair dresser is if you want those curls to last longer. The more natural looking, the vibe will be more raw.
What time will my session be?
Outdoor sessions are scheduled 1-2 hours before sunset, this varies of the location, weather, and time of year. Please consider that summer sessions will be later in the evening, and fall sessions will be earlier. I understand that this may be late for your kids, but unfortunately I cannot achieved the dreamy golden tones if I shoot mid-day. Mid-day the shadows are harsh and the photos are not flattering. I hope you understand.
Where will my session be?
No stress! As for location, I have pre-determined spots because I know exactly how the light is and the photographs turn out in the most spectacular way. The spots are usually 15 minutes outside of Grand falls, NB
Let me know if you have another backdrop in mind, I can recommend other locations that include a travel fee!
What do we do if rain is forecast?
Heavy rain/ Storm we will rebook but if the forecast is 30% or less we will go ahead with the session. Although a boudoir session in the rain could be epic!
What should I wear to my boudoir session?
The only thing you need to bring is panties and a bra!! I got the rest covered with my client closet! Earthy tones!
Do you do sneak peaks?
Like last year, I will not be sending sneak peaks due to it taking me away from delivering your gallery in a reasonable time frame. For the moment, waiting time for your images is 4 weeks after our session. I'd truly appreciate it if you'd let me work at my own pace and when your gallery is ready, I will send you a direct link. I know it's painful, but know that I'm working endlessly to get you your beautiful gallery curated with love. It'll be worth the wait I promise. PS: If anything drastic happens, I will let you know of the delay.
Is Winds of Autumn your bread winner?
Yes absolutely! in 2019, I was determined on making it happen when my son was born to make this my full time career. I have always been extremely creative and that is one of the things that kept me going through hardships in my life.
In June 2020, Solis Light Photo was officially established and I never looked back after that! I started from scratch, without education whatsoever in photography to being published in more than 10 magazines. I am self taught and have mentored with 3 talented photographers so far. Keeping those wheels turning is important to keep a fresh outlook on my art and how to better serve you. It also helps me keep the passion alive!
I travel all New Brunswick all the way up to Campbelton all the way down the Moncton area. The beach and Rocky coast, my favorite! To humbly add, mama's from all over including Ontario and Nova Scotia come to see me for the unique experience and style that I offer. Im so so grateful!!
I can't wait to see what the futur holds! There are so many possibilities to flourish through this beautiful creative adventure that I have started with you just 5 years ago. It feels like it was just yesterday but the years go by so quickly!

How do I book
my session?
1 - See Collections
You're doing this for you! Take a look at the Collections and choose whichever one is right for you and your family.
2 - Reach out!
The best way to get in touch with me is by messenger and from there I will send you directions to see collections and how I approach my work with you. Let me know what you're looking for your dream shoot and who will be a part of the session. I'll answer any questions or worries you may have!
3 - Booking Process
Once you've looked at the information and you're ready to book, I will send you a link to walk you through the steps of booking your session. Once this process is completed, your date will be secured in my schedule.
4 - Session Planning
After your booking, I will send you resources that are included within your Welcome Guide and client closet.
5 - Outfits Planning
Around 4 weeks before your session, we can start planning for outfits and order if we need to.
6 - Day of
Take it all in. This is your time and if you can relax on the day of, please do! Make it an event! For the session, don't forget that everything ALWAYS works out! Please keep in mind that we might need to reschedule due to weather or health issues.

7 - Photo Gallery
Your final images should be ready within 4-5 weeks and will be delivered and downloadable from an online gallery. Easy peasy! then, enjoy your memories for a lifetime!
